This Gochujang Butter Pasta is spicy, savory, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. A bold fusion twist that comes together fast with pantry ingredients!

- 250g pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain the rest.
- In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, and honey. Cook for 1 minute.
- Lower heat and add heavy cream. Stir until smooth and combined.
- Add cooked pasta and a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce as needed.
- Toss well until pasta is fully coated.
- Adjust salt to taste, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot and enjoy the spicy creamy kick!
Notes
Add sautéed mushrooms or crispy tofu for extra flavor and texture. Adjust gochujang amount based on your spice preference.
