Description

Ingredients

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 300g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 2 minutes per side).
  5. Stir in remaining butter and cooked pasta, tossing to coat well.
  6. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.

Notes

Best served immediately. You can substitute spaghetti with linguine or fettuccine.
